Common Tools

Alright, so now that you have your Skin out and everything is the way it should be its time to explain few Tools you will need for this bit.

First of all, Make sure you select the skin;

And now lets have a breakdown of the GEOMETRY TOOL.

For now this will be enough, to be honest I don't know what each and every control does but these are the ones most commonly used and the ones I used in this process.

In the upper bit you can see the number of polys used or Active Points, keep an eye on that when playing with the GEOMETRY TOOL.

first off all lets start with
DIVIDE;
-With this tool, much like the DENSITY in the Adaptive Skin options, it adds more more polys to your mesh,
Now, you can straight away add 20 000 000 polys and then start to model, but what I like to do is to start with lower divisions and then work my way to higher details, the finer the detail, the higher the subdivision level, the bigger / the lower.
I will cover this once we start adding details.

SUBDIVISIONS;
-This works with DIVIDE, in this option you choose at what subdivision level you wish to work.

DELETE HIDDEN;
-This is one of the tools we are going to use later in the process, but it is worth mentioning, what it does, is basically deleting the objects you hid by applying the masking tool.
